"I am a classically trained oil painter and portrait artist, born and raised in Oakland. My technical ability, coupled with my personal journey gives me a very unique perspective and a style all my own. A style some are calling Urban Fine Art, I just call it my personal voice. I am inspired by Beauty, life, and the mood of the moment."
"The first artist to earn Lynch's blessing is Bobby Arte, 32, an Oakland native who began scribbling as a preschooler and now shows his work art galleries around the East Bay and teaches art to Oakland youth. He has sold dozens of works, including pieces to the president of Sony television, Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, and Pat Monahan of Train, among others. Lynch has purchased several of Arte's oil paintings, including a striking, 8 feet canvas depicting Mount Rushmore with mug shots of Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, and Harriet Tubman" (C. Jones, "Marshawn Lynch Discovers Fine Art at His Beast Mode Store in Oakland", 2016). Read more from this article...
Bobby's passion is in Art, but he is also a true athlete. He played High School football for Skyline High School in Oakland and continued his athletic career in college and further along to the Canadian Football League where he was signed by Edmonton out of the University of Hawaii in March of 2003. The speed, Bobby had five interceptions in his rookie year, running two of them back for touchdowns. With 300 yards in on those interception returns, Bobby had a rather fantastic 60 yard average. Bobby had another 4 interceptions in his second year with Edmonton in 2004 and a pair of fumble recoveries, one of which he returned 49 yards for a touchdown. He then joined the Ottawa Renegades for 2005. Sure, go ahead. Ask Bobby to see his ring, when you meet him.
